Our lives are full time and busy, we find it more and more difficult to reach out and get involved and understand what is going on in our community.  Your HOA has provided this website as a 24X7 tool to keep you in informed, provide you with valuable information and provide you with a direct link to your board of directors or management company.  This is an opportunity to get connected and involved with your Home Owners Association.  The cost of this website is subsidized by businesses that support your community.  Please support them.  Below are several key reasons why you should register and log in several times per week.

Why should I join the HOA site?

  • To get the latest news from your HOA administrators.
  • Keep up to date on your local community events and issues.
  • To get current information from your local school district.
  • Buy, sell and trade using the classifieds in your community.
 

How do I join this site?

Click on the login button at the top right and then select the 'register' link or click here

After you complete your registration, the approval is sent to your Board of Director's designated site administrator.  After confirmation of your residency in the community your will be sent an email of the approval.  This should take a maximum of 24 hours.

 

What will I see when I log in after registration?

•    After registering and log in there are tools and menu's available to you that is not to the viewing public.
•    You will be able to have direct communication with each board member and/or the management company.
•    You will have access to all of the critical documents from your HOA.
•    The calendar of events will show you when and where important events are happening within your HOA throughout the year.
•    You will have access to the latest HOA news.
•    You will be able to advertise your approved classified ad to your HOA and all of your neighboring HOA's.

 

How do I log in?

Insert your username/email address and password in the fields at the right and click on 'Login'.

 

How do I update my profile?

You can edit your profile when you are logged in. Select 'Your Profile' from the members menu. You will now see your current profile. Hold your mouse over 'Edit' and select the appropriate menu item from the drowdown menu.

 

Registration confirmation email not received?

If you do not receive your confirmation email after registering you should do the following:

  1. Check your junk mail folder.
  2. Check with your Internet service provider that the email is not being filtered to junk mail and if so ask them to add support[@}brittanylanehoa.com to your safe senders list (remove []).
  3. Go to the site and attempt to login using the details they provided during registration (username, password). This will activate another confirmation email which you should now receive.
  4. In the event that the confirmation email still does not reach you contact us to have your account activated manually.
 

Classifieds Questions


Can I advertise in the Classifieds without registering?

You may view items in the classifieds without registering but you will not be able to post an ad or view the contact details of other members who have posted ads.

 

Can I advertise my business in the Classifieds?

You may not advertise your business in the classifieds. If you wish to advertise your your business on this site and other sites within the local area please go to Today's Puget Sound for more information.

 

How do I post a classified ad?

To post a classified you need to be registered an logged in. Once you are logged in:

  1. Select 'Classifieds' link on the menu.
  2. Select 'Add New Classified Listing' (only viewable when you are registered and logged in).
  3. Complete the information fields and select 'Submit For Review'.

Please be sure to read the rules before you post your classified. Your ad will be reviewed by an administrator before it is posted to the classifieds section. In the event that your classified ad is deemed inapproriate for this site it will not be approved.

 

How do I edit or delete my classified?

Log in and select the classified you wish to update or delete. You will see icons to 'delete' or 'edit' you classified. Select the appropriate link.

Your classified ad will require reapproval upon editing if it has been approved previously.

 

Can I advertise anything in the classified section?

No, your HOA Board of Director's designated administrator will approve all classified ads before they are posted. Your Board of Directors will decide what is appropriate to advertise in your community.

 

Who sees my classified ad?

Your HOA members, neighboring HOA's and the general public.

 

Classified Rules

Please be sure that you only list items which are suitable for all ages. Do not list items which you cannot provide yourself.

Do not list businesses in the classifieds. They will be removed.

Although we check each classified ad we do not take responsibility for discrepancies and we in no way endorse the provider of the classified. When making any transaction through these classifieds all responsibility is that of the members concerned and all liability lies with them.

No liability will be accepted by the HOA administrators or the providers of this web site. The administrators of this site retain the right to edit or delete and classified ad posted on this site. The administrators of this site retain the right to refuse a member the right to post a classified ad and the right to ban a member from use of the classifieds or any other part of this site.

The administrators reserve the right to change these rules at any time without notice. It is the responsibility of members check these rules on a frequent basis to see any changes made.

 

Will my classified ad expire?

Yes, your classified ad will expire in 30 days. If you wish to repost your ad you can do so at any time but it will require reapproval by an administrator.

Why is there advertising from businesses on my HOA website?

Your HOA is only paying for hosting and minimal administration fees. The ongoing development and monthly maintenance is paid by the businesses that sponsor and advertise on your HOA Web site and Today's Puget Sound. It is important for the members to use these business for their services and products where appropriate to their needs. There is a separate directory for the local businesses in your community and the online businesses.

 

Does this Website cost my HOA money?

Only a minimal hosting fee that currently is less than $100 per year. The ongoing development, maintenance and support is all subsidized by the businesses that support your community.
